Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Public School is located in the community of Hazelton, forty-five miles southeast of Bismarck, North Dakota. The school district, which also includes the communities of Moffit and Braddock, covers an area of approximately 570 square miles in Emmons, Burleigh, and Kidder Counties.
The idea of starting a scholarship fund for Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock students was first suggested by a Teacher-Parent project committee in the fall of 1991. Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Dollars for Scholars® a charter member of the National Dollars for Scholars® was established on May 6, 1992.
That same year, Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Dollars for Scholars® was able to award 3 scholarships for a total of $1,000 thanks to a generous donation from the Bank of Hazelton. The bank has continued to support our organization with their annual gifts. Another generous donor that has consistently contributed to Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Dollars for Scholars® since it's beginning is the Hazelton Lions Club.
We continue to stress that our objective is to give as many scholarships as possible to as many students as possible. It is our goal to make post-secondary education possible for all students with the understanding that it takes scholarships and educational support to obtain this goal.

Often when we lose a loved one, we search for ways to feel close to that
person or for ways to honor their memory. A memorial scholarship can
be "Named" for your loved one and you will have a say in the critieria of
awarding the scholarship. Your donation will have both honored the memory of your loved one
and have a lasting impact on a H-M-B student's life.
